LG G3 Rolls Out
The LG G3 just got unveiled at an event held in San Francisco, New York, and London. LG’s flagship handset will be available as soon as tomorrow in the company’s home turf of Korea, with the global rollout announcements in more than 170 countries following next month. The Android (4.4.2) LG3 smart phone features 5.5 inch, 1440 x 2560 pixel display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with an Adreno 330 graphics processor, 2048 MB RAM, and microSD storage expansion. A 13MP Optical Image Stabilizer camera has a “Laser Auto Focus”. It features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth Smart, NFC, SlimPort, A-GPS/Glonass, USB 2.0 and LTE. In the US, Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T already confirmed they will be carrying the handset, and will be announcing release dates and availability in the next few weeks. Don’t expect anything less than the usual $200 on contract, or north of $600 without carrier subsidies in the US, reports Phone Arena. It will compete with other flagship phones such as Sony’s Xperia Z2, Samsung’s Galaxy S5, and HTC’s One (M8).
