Wi-Fi network aiming to raise $250k on crowdfunding site Kickstarter from pre-orders of wireless gadget
Fon has built a business running 13m Wi-Fi hotspots around the world. Now the company is expanding into digital music with a device called Gramofon.
Described as a "modern cloud jukebox", the device is being unveiled today through a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, where Fon is hoping to raise more than $250k for pre-orders of the new gadget.
